The Italian league star has been offered to Real Madrid, but!

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Roma has offered one of its stars to Real Madrid for a transfer during the current summer transfer window.

The club, at the request of coach Xabi Alonso, is looking to sign a new center-back alongside Dejan Huijsen, which has prompted Roma to try to “entice” the club to solve the Italian club’s financial problems.

According to the report, Roma officials have offered Real Madrid officials the possibility of signing center-back Evan Ndicka.

Ndicka is already a favorite of Alonso’s, and he had previously wanted to join Bayer Leverkusen. Therefore, he would be an ideal choice for him to succeed Antonio Rüdiger at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Ndicka’s contract with Roma runs until June 2028, but the Giallorossi need new sources of income to avoid UEFA’s strict financial scrutiny, and so the club will have to sell a number of its distinguished players, including the Ivorian international.

Although the deal is a win-win for both parties, completing it seems extremely difficult, as Roma is determined to earn €40 million, while Real Madrid is unwilling to pay such a large sum after signing Huijsen for nearly €60 million.

It’s worth noting that Ndika is on the radar of several European clubs, most notably Manchester United and Tottenham. He played in every match for Roma last season and was one of Claudio Ranieri’s key players.
