The German League announced the nominees for the Best Player of the Month award for October 2024 in the competition.
The list witnessed a shock in every sense of the word, after it was devoid of the name of Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush.
The Egyptian international scored 4 goals over the past month, 2 of which were against Bayern Munich, another against Bayer Leverkusen, and finally against Bochum.
The Egyptian also made 3 other goals, the last of which were 2 in the Bochum match, however, all his brilliance was not enough to nominate him for the best in the Bundesliga for the past month.
The list of nominees for the best included 6 names, headed by Bayern Munich star Harry Kane, who is the most likely candidate for the award given his numbers.
Kane is joined by Ritsu Doan and Vincenzo Grifo from Freiburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Tim Kleindienst, Union Berlin star Tom Rutte, and Leipzig defender Willi Orban.
It is noteworthy that Marmoush has already won the best player award for October, but at the level of Eintracht Frankfurt, which is his second in a row with the “Eagles”.
