Ten Hag responds to the news of his dismissal from United in his own way

Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag spoke with great confidence after he succeeded in leading his team to win the FA Cup by defeating Manchester City 2-1.

In recent hours, the media reported that United’s management decided to dismiss Ten Hag after the poor season, even if he succeeded in winning the FA Cup.

When the Dutch coach was asked about this after winning the cup, he replied, “I won two championships in two seasons and we reached three finals. Not a bad record.”

He also added, “If United don’t want me anymore, I will go to another club and win trophies. This is the only thing I know in my career.”

Ten Hag succeeded in leading United to win the Carabao Cup last season, but lost the FA Cup final to City before achieving the title this season and taking revenge at Wembley Stadium.

At the league level, United ranked third last season, then this season ranked eighth, which is the worst position in the history of the Red Devils in the Premier League.

In Europe, United did not succeed in the Champions League this season after finishing bottom of their group, but they will play the Europa League next season after winning the FA Cup.
