Surprise: Omar Al Somah will participate in the Club World Cup with this team!

Omar Al Somah terminated his contract with Al-Oruba Club in the past few hours by mutual agreement.

The Syrian star joined Al-Oruba last January, but failed in his primary mission to prevent his team from being relegated to the Yelo League.

According to Al-Youm newspaper, Al Somah will continue his football career through a new gateway, moving to Moroccan club Wydad.

The 38-year-old will be a new addition to Wydad’s squad for the Club World Cup and is expected to join the delegation in the United States in the coming days.

This will be Al Somah’s first experience outside of Asia, having previously represented Al-Qadisiyah of Kuwait, Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia, Al-Arabi of Qatar, and most recently Al-Oruba.

Al Somah’s contract with Wydad is expected to extend only during the Club World Cup, after which he will decide whether to extend his contract with Wydad or move to another club.

It is worth noting that Wydad is in a tough group in the Club World Cup, along with Manchester City, Juventus, and Al Ain of the UAE.
