Al-Riyadh newspaper reported that Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus has decided to exclude Neymar from his team’s list participating in the Saudi League this season.
Al Hilal has the right to register only 8 foreign players, while the “Blue Wave” has 9 foreigners after contracting with Joao Cancelo from Manchester City last summer.
Although Neymar has begun to recover and it was said that he might participate after the current international break, the reality is that Jesus believes that the Brazilian star needs at least two more months to be ready for the matches.
For this reason, the Portuguese coach preferred to exclude Neymar from the Saudi League list, with him only registered in the Asian Elite League list to prepare for the second half of the Roshn League.
Accordingly, Renan Lodi will not leave Al Hilal, and will be registered with Al Hilal despite contracting with Mutab Al Harbi in the largest Saudi player transfer deal in history, and Joao Cancelo will be registered without crises.
