Sam Morsy believes that the fact that Egypt national team coach Hossam Hassan has not called him up so far confirms that there is no intention to include him at a later time.
Despite the great brilliance of the Ipswich Town star in the Premier League and before that in the Premiership, Hossam Hassan has completely excluded him from his calculations without a precise reason.
Sam Morsy said about the matter in statements to beIN Sports, “The coach has not invited me to the Egyptian national team since his first camp.”
He also added, “I have always been proud to represent the Egyptian national team, but what happened is a clear indication of the coach’s intentions and whether he will invite me later or not.”
He concluded, “As I said before, I am always ready to help and serve the Egyptian national team.”
Hossam Hassan prefers to rely on Hamdi Fathi in the middle of the field or his replacement Marawan Attia, even despite Sam Morsy’s brilliance, which was the reason for harsh criticism of the Pharaohs coach.
It is worth noting that Sam Morsy played in the 2018 World Cup with the Egyptian national team.
