Salah Wins Prestigious Award, Achieves Historic Milestone in England

Mohamed Salah continued his historic achievements in England, this time winning the 2024-25 Premier League Player of the Year award, presented by the Football Writers’ Association.

This is the third time the “Egyptian King” has won this award, having previously won it in the 2017-18 and 2021-22 seasons.

Salah is now the most decorated player of all time, tied with French legend Thierry Henry, with three wins each.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old’s win was historic, receiving 90% of the votes, a record unprecedented in the 21st century.

Salah led Liverpool to the Premier League title, scoring 28 goals and providing 18 assists in 35 appearances this season.

It’s worth noting that Salah renewed his contract with Liverpool for two years following this unparalleled performance, completing a nearly ten-year career in English football, during which he established himself as one of the Premier League’s most important legends.
