Salah surpasses Ronaldo and other Premier League legends with a new historic achievement!

It has become common for Mohamed Salah to achieve great accomplishments on English soil, and now the Egyptian star surpasses all Premier League legends with a new historic record.

Salah was crowned PFA Player of the Year for the 2024-25 season, presented by the Professional Football Writers’ Association, and received the award at a grand ceremony in Manchester.

The “Egyptian King” won the award after successfully leading Liverpool to the Premier League title last season, and after beating other stars including Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Alexander Isak (Newcastle United), Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), and Declan Rice (Arsenal).

Salah became the first player in the history of the prestigious award to win it three times, surpassing legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Kevin De Bruyne, Thierry Henry, and Alan Shearer, who have all won it only twice.

Meanwhile, Salah became the first player in history to win five individual awards in a single season. The 33-year-old won the Premier League’s top scorer, playmaker of the year, League One Player of the Year, and Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year.

Salah commented on his achievement, saying, “I look at myself now: a man from Egypt reaching the highest level and making history today. It makes me very proud.”

Salah opened the new 2025-26 season with a goal against Bournemouth and is now preparing for the second match, which is highly anticipated against Newcastle next Monday.
