Mohamed Salah continues to make history with Liverpool, this time after scoring the Reds’ first goal against Aston Villa in the tenth round of the English Premier League on Saturday evening.
The Egyptian international capitalized on a glaring error by goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, immediately firing the ball into the net in the final minute of the first half at Anfield.

With this goal, Mohamed Salah’s total for Liverpool now stands at 250 goals, along with 116 assists in 414 appearances across all competitions.
Salah is only the third player in Liverpool’s history to reach 250 goals or more, following in the footsteps of legends Ian Rush (346 goals) and Roger Hunt (285 goals).
With this goal, Salah equaled Wayne Rooney’s record for most goal contributions in a single Premier League season for one club, having now been involved in 276 goals (188 goals and 88 assists).
This was Salah’s fifth goal of the season, and his second consecutive goal after his strike against Brentford last week.
