“Sad” Real Madrid makes a new important decision after Joselu’s departure
The “Relevo” network confirmed that Real Madrid officials have taken a new decision regarding the club’s plans in the current summer transfer period after Joselu’s departure.
The Spanish club has activated the right to buy Joselu from Espanyol for 1.5 million euros, and he will be sold for the same value to Al-Gharafa of Qatar within the next few hours.
A state of sadness prevails around the Santiago Bernabeu, as everyone wanted Joselu to stay next season, but everyone also understands that this is the player’s last chance to receive a huge salary before the end of his career.
Many Real Madrid fans demanded that Joselu be replaced and another striker signed, but the decision of Florentino Perez’s management in this regard was very decisive.
“Relevo” stated in its report that whether the administration or Carlo Ancelotti had the same vision that the position of the outright striker was well covered and there was no need to sign a new striker after Joselu.
Ancelotti believes that Endrik’s inclusion, along with the possibility of relying on Kylian Mbappe as a striker, makes it undesirable to have another striker to prevent any crises from the bench.
Thus, Real Madrid will not enter the current summer transfer market with the intention of signing another striker, and will focus its efforts only on signing a defender or left-back.
