Cristiano Ronaldo’s face was filled with sadness after losing the Saudi Super Cup final with Al-Nassr to Al-Ahli in Hong Kong.
Ronaldo scored in the 2-2 draw and also converted a penalty kick, but Al-Nassr ultimately lost 5-4.
After the match, cameras captured Ronaldo looking sad and talking to himself, just as he did when Al-Nassr was eliminated from the AFC Champions League last April.
However, Ronaldo then did what he usually does as Al-Nassr’s captain, gathering the Knights of Najd players and encouraging them to overcome this defeat.

Ronaldo urged the Al-Nassr players to hold their heads high and prepare for the season, which will begin next Friday with a match against Al-Taawoun in the Saudi League.
Ronaldo, 40, has failed to win any official title with Al-Nassr since joining in the winter of 2023. This final was his second loss with the club, following the King’s Cup final against Al-Hilal in 2024.
