Cristiano Ronaldo continued his impressive form with Al-Nassr, scoring a goal in his team’s 2-1 victory over Damac in the Saudi Pro League on Wednesday.
The Portuguese star capitalized on a pass inside the penalty area, unleashing a powerful shot that found the back of the net in the 50th minute, giving Al-Nassr their second goal.
Ronaldo has now scored 116 goals for Al-Nassr across all competitions since joining the club in January 2023.
With this goal, the 40-year-old broke the record previously held by Abderrazak Hamdallah, becoming Al-Nassr’s all-time leading foreign goalscorer.
Ronaldo was tied with Hamdallah at 115 goals before surpassing him to claim the record.
This goal was Ronaldo’s 960th career goal, leaving him just 40 goals away from reaching the 1000-goal mark, a milestone he is expected to reach before retiring.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo reached his 16th goal in the Saudi League, thus continuing his lead in the top scorers’ ranking by two goals over his closest pursuer, Al-Ahli striker Ivan Toni.
