Saudi stars continued their attack on Cristiano Ronaldo, and the latest links came through former Al-Hilal administrator Ibrahim Al-Anqari.
The attack began specifically when the team announced the presence of Ronaldo in the 16th round of the Saudi League, which angered Al-Anqari and considered it “unfair”.
Al-Anqari continued his talk in this regard by saying, “Ronaldo is now a burden on Al-Nassr fans, and despite that, his rating is rising among the attackers”.
He also added, “Ronaldo is the league’s top scorer? He scored 9 goals from penalty kicks out of 12 goals. Let’s ask the most important question, how many opportunities did Ronaldo miss?”
He concluded, “Ronaldo’s level has changed a lot. He is no longer the same player he was 7 years ago. If he was the same, he would not have wasted all these opportunities and would have been able to exploit the spaces, unlike now.”
It is worth noting that Ronaldo’s contract with Al-Nassr expires at the end of the current season, and all sources confirm that the 39-year-old is on his way to renewing his contract for another year until the 2026 World Cup.
