Ronaldo evaluates his championship-free season with Al-Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo believes that the past season was one of the best seasons of his career ever, despite Al-Nassr’s failure to win any official championship during it.

Al-Nassr finished second in the Saudi League and lost the King’s Cup final to Al-Hilal, in addition to bidding farewell to the AFC Champions League in the quarter-finals and the Super Cup in the semi-finals.

But on the individual level, Ronaldo scored 35 goals in the league, thus becoming the most goals scored in a single season in the competition throughout its history, an achievement that greatly pleases the 39-year-old.

During his conversation with the Saudi Professional League, Ronaldo said, “It is an achievement that means a lot to me, as it expresses my personal work. I am very happy and I had one of my best seasons ever.”

He added, “It’s not just about scoring goals, but also about assists.”

Ronaldo provided 11 assists in the Saudi League, in addition to two assists in the AFC Champions League, and from a digital standpoint, he has improved a lot in this regard over previous seasons.

The Don concluded his speech by saying, “Without my teammates in Al-Nasr, this would not have been possible. Every season, I give everything I have to help Al-Nassr and Portugal and achieve individual titles if that is possible.”
