France Football magazine has traditionally invited a football legend to present the Ballon d’Or, and according to Spanish media, the French magazine has chosen who will present the most prestigious individual award in 2025.
Cadena Ser radio reported that Brazilian legend Ronaldinho will present the 2025 Ballon d’Or, a choice that further increases the mystery surrounding the winner of this year’s award.
Ronaldinho previously played for Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, so it seems that France Football wanted to maintain the mystery surrounding the winner’s identity, given that the competition is technically between Lamine Yamal and Ousmane Dembélé.
Ronaldinho previously won the Ballon d’Or in 2005 and has a legendary career on the pitch, both at club level and with the Brazilian national team, where he won the 2002 World Cup.
The Ballon d’Or ceremony is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Théâtre du Château in Paris.
Ivorian and African football legend Didier Drogba presented last year’s award to Manchester City star Rodri.
