Reports: Barcelona Interested in Signing Bayern Munich Player

A Bayern Munich star has entered Barcelona’s radar to bolster their left-wing position during the current summer transfer window, according to German newspaper Bild.

This player is Bryan Zaragoza, who has completely fallen out of favor with coach Vincent Kompany. Bayern Munich is currently looking for an opportunity to sell him permanently, amid interest from several La Liga clubs.

Marcus Rashford remains the first choice on the table for Barça’s management after the failure of the Neco Williams deal and the difficulty of signing Luis Diaz from Liverpool. However, the Catalan club is developing a backup plan in case of any new developments.

This plan involves signing Zaragoza, the 23-year-old who has excelled in La Liga in various capacities. An additional advantage of such a deal is that it will not cost Barcelona a lot of money and the player can be registered without the usual crises.

According to Bild, Zaragoza is on the radar of Celta Vigo and Real Betis, while Greek club Olympiacos is also trying to convince him to join them. The player has yet to make a final decision, with his market value standing at just €12 million.

Zaragoza joined Bayern Munich on loan from Granada in the winter of 2024, before being bought by the Bavarians the following summer for €13 million. However, he failed to settle at the Allianz Arena and was loaned out to Osasuna last season, where he again shone in La Liga and established himself as one of the best left wingers.
