Liverpool have finalized an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Bradley Barcola in a move that will place the French winger among the most expensive signings in the history of both the club and the Premier League, pending his medical examination and contract execution.
The guaranteed fee will stand at £106 million (€125 million), accompanied by £17 million in performance-related add-ons and team objectives, bringing the total maximum package to £123 million (€145 million).
Based on the guaranteed sum, Barcola becomes the second-most expensive transfer in Liverpool’s history behind Alexander Isak, and the seventh-highest in Premier League history, trailing Isak, Morgan Rogers, Elliot Anderson, Florian Wirtz, Moisés Caicedo, and Enzo Fernández.
However, should the performance add-ons be fully triggered, Barcola would rise to second place among the Premier League’s all-time most expensive transfers, sitting only behind Isak—who moved to Liverpool for £125 million—while surpassing Morgan Rogers (£117 million) and Elliot Anderson (£116 million).
The 23-year-old is set to undergo his medical examination within 24 hours prior to signing a five-year contract.
Barcola made 49 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain during the 2025–2026 season, registering 13 goals and 6 assists. His overall career record with the Parisian club stands at 39 goals and 37 assists in 152 matches.
Prior to the Barcola deal, Liverpool had spent £89.5 million during the summer transfer window, securing defender Jérémy Jacquet from Rennes for £55 million, winger Víctor Muñoz from Osasuna for £34.5 million, and acquiring Ronald Araújo on loan from Barcelona.
Including the guaranteed fee for Barcola, Liverpool’s total expenditure in the summer of 2026 rises to £195.5 million—potentially reaching £212.5 million if all add-ons are met—representing a major attacking investment to replace Mohamed Salah and provide manager Andoni Iraola with a versatile, high-speed winger.
