Real Sociedad to face Atlético Madrid in the Copa del Rey final

Real Sociedad have qualified for the 2026 Copa del Rey final after defeating Athletic Bilbao in the semi-finals.

The first leg of the semi-final saw Sociedad triumph 1-0 at San Mamés Stadium, and the Basque club repeated the same scoreline in the second leg at Anoeta Stadium.

Sociedad’s lone goal in the second leg came from Mikel Oyarzabal via a penalty in the 87th minute.

With this victory, Sociedad will face Atlético Madrid, who overcame Barcelona 4-3 on aggregate in the semi-finals.
