Valencia has officially requested that La Liga postpone its match against Real Madrid next Saturday at Mestalla due to the powerful storm that the region is experiencing, known in the media as “Dana”.
The hurricane has so far caused the death of more than 50 people, with thousands missing and has caused significant damage to the region, and because of it all matches for the next two days in the Spanish King’s Cup have been postponed there.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and all Spanish clubs have published statements of support for Valencia in the humanitarian disaster, and Real Madrid also held a minute of silence before Wednesday’s training in solidarity with the victims of the storm.
