Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior won the 2023-2024 Champions League Best Player award from UEFA.
The Brazilian international led Real Madrid to its fifteenth title after scoring a goal in the final match against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium.
In total, Vinicius scored 6 goals and assisted 5 others during Real Madrid’s unbeaten run in the Champions League last season.
It was logical that Vinicius would win the award as the most influential in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, but Jude Bellingham was also present and won another award.
The English star was named the best young player in the competition for all his performances, which included scoring 4 goals and assisting 5, including Vinicius’ goal in the final.
Another award went to Real Madrid, which was the best goal, as it was won by Fede Valverde’s goal against Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the first leg of the semi-final.
It is noteworthy that the best lineup in the Champions League 2023-2024 witnessed the presence of 4 players from Real Madrid, namely Dani Carvajal and Antonio Rudiger, along with Bellingham and Vinicius.
