According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, David Alaba will leave Real Madrid with 100% certainty when his contract expires next June.

Real Madrid’s management appreciates Alaba’s contributions before his ACL injury, but he is no longer in their plans after a significant decline in form over the past year, and there is no intention of renewing his contract, regardless of the financial sacrifices he is willing to make.

The 32-year-old is aware of the situation and has already begun searching for a new club. Discussions are underway with American and Arab clubs regarding a free transfer next summer.

Alaba joined Real Madrid on a free transfer after a historic spell with Bayern Munich that spanned more than 10 years. This season, he has only made 13 appearances, mostly as a substitute, and has yet to register a goal.

Meanwhile, Antonio Rüdiger’s situation remains unclear. His contract also expires at the end of the current season, and Real Madrid’s management has not yet decided whether to renew it or release him. All options remain open in the coming month.

The German international is attracting significant interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, and he himself is open to the move. However, he also hopes to stay at least for another year with Real Madrid before ending his career in European football.
