Real Madrid Loses Financially Due to Arda Güler’s Brilliance!

Real Madrid is benefiting greatly from Arda Güler’s outstanding performances this season, but at the same time, the club is obligated to pay more money to the Turkish star’s former club, Fenerbahçe.

Güler has become an integral part of Xabi Alonso’s starting lineup this season, ranking eighth in appearances for Real Madrid, and has developed a strong understanding with Kylian Mbappé in particular.

According to the newspaper AS, Real Madrid will pay Fenerbahçe two million euros after Güler reached 75 appearances for the club, a clause stipulated in his transfer agreement.

This clause is part of a three-stage agreement: after reaching 75 appearances, then 100, and finally 125. Real Madrid will have to pay an additional two million euros at each of the next two stages if either is achieved.

Güler joined Real Madrid for €26 million in the summer of 2013. Despite struggling initially with injuries, things changed with the arrival of Xabi Alonso. The Spanish coach was a firm believer in him, even attempting to sign him at Bayer Leverkusen last season.

This season, Güler has made 14 appearances in all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 6 assists.
