Real Madrid won the Champions League for the fifteenth time in its history after defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the final at Wembley Stadium.

Dortmund’s advantage was clear in the first half in particular, after the German club wasted more than one opportunity in light of the great brilliance of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

In the second half, Real Madrid woke up a lot, and after coach Carlo Ancelotti’s squad gained more possession, Dani Carvajal succeeded in scoring the first goal from a header in the 73rd minute.

Borussia Dortmund surrendered after this goal, and Real Madrid began wasting many opportunities until Vinicius Junior scored the second goal and killed the match in the 83rd minute.

Thanks to this victory, Real Madrid will play with Atalanta, the European League champion, in the European Super Cup match at the opening of the next season in August.

Real Madrid continues to be the club with the most continental titles in the world, and with the addition of this title, the total of the Royal Club’s titles becomes 30.
