New Real Madrid player Endrick has continued to set records at a young age, most recently when he scored a goal in Brazil’s 3-2 friendly win over Mexico on Sunday morning.
Endrick scored against Spain and England during the last international break in March, and now he scores against Mexico, and he also became the youngest player to score in the history of the Seleção since Pele in 1957.
With this goal, Endrick equaled the historical record recorded by the legend Pele, as he became the youngest player (under 18 years of age) to score in 3 consecutive matches.
Endrick had previously refused to compare him to Pele, as he said in clear terms, “There will not be a new Pele. He is the king of football. I did not ask anyone to compare me to him.”
Endrick will join Real Madrid after the end of the 2024 Copa America with Brazil and after he turns eighteen in the next few days.
Endrick is seen as one of the most important football talents in the world. He mainly plays as a striker and is expected to bring a lot of quality to Real Madrid alongside Kylian Mbappe.
