Pedri slotted home the fourth in the 79th minute, and Yamal completed the 5–0 rout with his second goal in the 84th minute.

Raphinha raised his tally to 6 goals through the opening four matches of the season, becoming only the second player to score that many for Barcelona across the first four La Liga matchdays in the 21st century—matching Lionel Messi’s landmark set during the 2012–2013 and 2013–2014 campaigns.
Meanwhile, Anthony Gordon registered his 4th assist in his first four La Liga appearances, making him just the third player in the 21st century to accomplish the feat, alongside Cesc Fàbregas and Luis Suárez, who also achieved the milestone in Barcelona colors.
Fermín and Lamine Yamal Continue Explosive Form
Fermín became the first Spanish player to score 4 goals across Barcelona’s opening four La Liga matches of a season since Cesc Fàbregas in 2021–2012. Additionally, he became the first player in La Liga this season to combine both a goal and an assist inside the opening 25 minutes of a match.
Lamine Yamal brought his tally to 4 goals in four matches, standing out as the only teenager across Europe’s top five leagues to surpass the two-goal mark this season. Barcelona have now amassed 17 goals while conceding just twice, claiming their third 5-goal victory across the first four matchdays.
Barcelona sit alone at the top of the table with a maximum 12 points, holding a three-point cushion over Real Madrid, who suffered a 1–0 defeat against Real Betis. Atletico Madrid remain on 7 points following a 3–0 loss away to Athletic Bilbao.
The Catalan club will now host Feyenoord on Wednesday, September 9, in their UEFA Champions League opener, before traveling to face Levante on Sunday, September 13, for Matchday 5 of La Liga.
