Barcelona have welcomed back their star player Rafinha, who has recovered from his injury and will be available for Monday’s La Liga match against Girona.
The Brazilian international has been sidelined for the past two weeks with a muscle injury, the impact of which was evident in Barcelona’s 4-0 defeat to Atlético Madrid in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final.
Fortunately, Rafinha has recovered from his injury and participated fully in Barcelona’s training sessions over the past two days, confirming his availability for the Girona match, although he is expected to start on the bench and come on for a few minutes in the second half.
Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford continues to struggle with his injury and has been unable to participate in group training, instead training individually in the gym.
According to the newspaper “Sport,” Rashford has not yet recovered from his left knee injury and is unlikely to play against Girona. Efforts are underway to get him ready for next week’s match against Levante.
It is worth noting that Barcelona dropped to second place after Real Madrid’s 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad on Saturday, and they hope to regain their lead when they visit Girona in the final match of the 24th round of La Liga.
