Paris Saint-Germain Launches Campaign for Dembélé to Win the Ballon d’Or

L’Equipe revealed that Paris Saint-Germain’s management has decided to launch a massive media campaign to support Ousmane Dembélé winning the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

The French international had a fantastic season with PSG, culminating in a historic quadruple and winning the UEFA Champions League Player of the Year award.

According to the latest report, Paris Saint-Germain officials have a clear goal: to have one of their stars win the Ballon d’Or, continuing the French club’s recent successes.

In light of Dembélé’s achievements this season, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has decided to give him full media support to help the 28-year-old win the most important individual award in world football.

The campaign began immediately after the Inter match, when coach Luis Enrique came out and demanded that Dembélé receive the award. Al-Khelaifi subsequently reiterated this demand, and it is expected to continue until the ceremony scheduled for next September.

Dembélé has played 49 matches this season in all competitions, scoring 33 goals and providing 15 assists.

Dembélé faces stiff competition from Barcelona duo Rafinha and Lamine Yamal, as well as Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the top scorer and Premier League winner with Liverpool.

The Ballon d’Or is voted for by national team captains and coaches, along with a portion of the media, so it’s difficult to predict the winner until the votes are tallied.
