Dembele’s brilliant night began in the 54th minute when he capitalized on a major blunder by Iraqi goalkeeper Ahmed Basil, assisting Kylian Mbappe for his second goal of the match.
In the 63rd minute, Dembele capped off his perfect performance. After receiving a precise pass from Michael Olise, he unleashed a powerful low drive from inside the penalty area, sealing his historic first-ever World Cup goal.
