Less than six months after his move to Manchester City, Omar Marmoush has won a prestigious award in the Premier League.
The Premier League announced on Saturday that Marmoush had won the competition’s Goal of the Season award for his strike against Bournemouth in the penultimate round.
The Egyptian international received the ball from midfield, approached the Bournemouth goal, and unleashed an unstoppable shot that beat goalkeeper Flenken.
The reaction to Marmoush’s goal was so overwhelming that some even nominated it for the 2025 Puskás Award.

In the end, Marmoush won his first award in England, and it could be the beginning of another legendary career for the Egyptian star.
Marmoush joined City last winter for €75 million after an exceptional season with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Since his move to the Etihad Stadium, the “Egyptian Prince” has scored eight goals and provided three assists in all competitions.
Overall, Marmoush is ranked ninth in the European Golden Shoe rankings, having scored a total of 44 goals last season with City and Frankfurt.
