Officially: Egyptian Super Cup Matches and Stadiums Determined

The UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, will host the 2025 Egyptian Super Cup matches, with the participation of four teams: Al Ahly, the Egyptian Premier League champions, and runner-up Pyramids FC; Zamalek, the Egypt Cup champions; and Ceramica Cleopatra, the Egyptian League Cup champions.

Two months ago, it was reported that the UAE would not host the Egyptian Super Cup again following last year’s events. Reports emerged that Kuwait was the most likely to host this edition, or that the tournament would be held normally in Cairo.

Ultimately, it was announced that the UAE would continue hosting the competition, which will be held from November 6 to 9 in the Spanish style, with two semi-final matches, a match to determine the champion, and a match to determine third and fourth place.

Zamalek will meet Pyramids FC in the first semi-final on November 6 at Al Nahyan Stadium, while Al Ahly will face Ceramica Cleopatra at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium at Al Ain Club.

The final will be held on November 9 at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, while the losers of the semi-final match will play for third and fourth place at Al Nahyan Stadium.

Al Ahly is the defending champion of the last edition, having defeated Zamalek, also in Abu Dhabi, on penalties after a goalless draw after regulation and extra time.
