Real Madrid announced in an official statement the nature of Eduardo Camavinga’s injury, which he sustained during the Merengue’s 1-0 La Liga win over Getafe on Wednesday.
The French star underwent the necessary medical tests, which confirmed a complete tear in his left adductor tendon.
According to Spanish media reports, Camavinga will need three months to recover and return to Real Madrid training.
This means Camavinga will miss the remainder of the season, including the crucial Copa del Rey final against Barcelona on Saturday.
Perhaps the biggest blow is that the 23-year-old will also miss the 2025 Club World Cup, which is scheduled to begin in mid-June.
This season, Camavinga has made 34 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
