La Liga has announced the date of the first leg of the El Clásico between Real Madrid and Barcelona, scheduled to be played at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

There is no doubt that El Clásico will be a revenge match for Real Madrid, who lost their last four matches against Barcelona last season.

This El Clásico will be Xabi Alonso’s first in charge of Real Madrid, while Hansi Flick aims to continue his overwhelming dominance over the club.
Real Madrid currently leads Barcelona in La Liga, leading the standings by two points, with a perfect record after winning their first five matches.
