The Spanish Football Federation has announced the date of the 2025 Copa del Rey final, which will be played between Real Madrid and Barcelona at La Cartuja Stadium.
Los Blancos qualified first after narrowly defeating Real Sociedad, followed by Barcelona, who defeated Atlético Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano.
The highly anticipated Copa del Rey final will be on Sunday, April 26, 2025, with the match kicking off in Andalusia at 11:00 PM Mecca Time.
Real Madrid had initially objected to this date, but the Spanish Football Federation ultimately decided it was the optimal time given both teams’ domestic and European commitments.
It’s worth noting that this El Clásico will be the third between the two teams this season, following Barça’s 4-0 La Liga victory at the Santiago Bernabéu and the 5-2 Spanish Super Cup final in Jeddah.
It is worth noting that two weeks after this match, the two teams will meet at the Olympic Stadium, Lluís Companys, in the second round of La Liga.
