Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has announced his split from his girlfriend Nikki Nicole, while insisting that he did not cheat on her with any other woman.
In recent hours, it was reported that the Spanish international was dating an Italian model, and upon Nikki Nicole finding out, the relationship with the 18-year-old ended.
“We simply broke up, that’s all,” Yamal told the media. “Everything else being said is a lie. I didn’t cheat on her, and I wasn’t with anyone else.”
Hours later, Nikki Nicole cleared Yamal of the newspaper allegations of infidelity, saying, “If someone had cheated on me, I would have been the first to clarify it, as I have done in the past.”
She added, “I’m not the type of person who does that, but I wanted to clarify that we haven’t been together for a few days, since I left Barcelona. We didn’t intend to announce it.”
Since her appearance with him at the beginning of this season, Nicole has become the talk of the town, with some even accusing her of being one of the main factors behind Yamal’s decline in performance and the multiple injuries he has recently suffered.
