Al-Riyadiah newspaper confirmed that Al-Hilal star Neymar has improved a lot during his recovery from the injury that has kept him out of action since last October.
The Brazilian international suffered a tear in his cruciate ligament and meniscus while participating with his country in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, after playing only 5 matches with Al Hilal.
According to the latest report, Neymar has regained a large part of his health in the past few days, and has even begun gradually running and speed training.
Despite the remarkable development in Neymar’s condition, it has become certain that he will not succeed in participating with the Brazilian national team in the Copa America, which will start next June 21 in America.
But the good news for Al Hilal is that the 31-year-old will most likely succeed in participating in the pre-season, after reports indicated that he would not return before October.
It remains to be noted that Brazil national team coach Dorival Junior announced earlier that the Seleção’s list for the Copa America was already devoid of Neymar’s name.
