Mohamed Salah’s name remains on the table of Al Hilal management, and he is one of the most wanted players in the “Blue Wave”, but his move there will only happen in one case.
The English media had revealed Al Hilal’s intention to sign Salah as soon as his contract at Liverpool ends, hoping to lead Jorge Jesus’ squad in the 2025 Club World Cup.
According to sports journalist Tariq Al-Nofal on the “Malaeb” program, this information is correct, and Al Hilal management actually wants to sign Salah.
But at the same time, the transfer of the “Egyptian King” to the Saudi leader can only happen in the event of the departure of Neymar da Silva.
The current crisis lies in the fact that the Saudi Investment Fund, which owns 75% of Al Hilal shares, does not want Neymar to leave for fear of losing the broadcasting and television marketing rights in Brazil, which already generate millions for the club’s coffers.
There is concern within Al Hilal that not resolving Neymar’s matter quickly could lead to the loss of Salah, especially since the 32-year-old has other offers from within Saudi Arabia itself from Al Nassr and Al Ittihad, in addition to Liverpool’s desperate attempts to renew his contract, which are expected to increase in the coming months.
It is worth noting that Neymar will not leave Al Hilal in January, according to the assurances of his agent, Pini Zahavi, and he initially intends to fulfill his contract in full and lead Al Hilal himself in the 2025 Club World Cup.
