Modric achieves a historic achievement with Real Madrid in the Cadiz match

Luka Modric participated mainly with Real Madrid during the Royal Club’s 3-0 victory over Cadiz at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Saturday in the Spanish League.

Thanks to this participation, the Croatian international continued to set records, and this time he surpassed a record registered in the name of Merengue legend Puskas.

Modric has become the oldest player by age to participate with Real Madrid in a Spanish League match.

Modric is 38 years and 238 days old, and thus surpasses the legend Puskas, who played a match with Real Madrid in La Liga while he was 38 years and 233 days old.

Modric crowned this historic night by assisting Brahim Diaz’s first goal against Cadiz in the 51st minute, and also completed the ninety minutes.

Now Modric is looking forward to leading Real Madrid to cross the semi-finals of the Champions League, when they face Bayern Munich on Wednesday in the return match, after the first leg, which ended in a 2-2 draw in Munich.
