MLS Welcomes Salah and Urges Him to Contact Messi!

MLS League Commissioner Don Garber confirmed that Mohamed Salah would be warmly welcomed to the league should he decide to join, urging the Liverpool star to speak with Lionel Messi to gauge his happiness there.

Salah is currently experiencing a difficult period at Liverpool due to disagreements with manager Arne Slott, and a move away from the Reds in January is a possibility. There is interest from San Diego, owned by Egyptian billionaire Mohamed Mansour, and Chicago Fire.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Garber was asked about the possibility of Salah joining MLS, and he responded unequivocally, saying, “Absolutely, if Salah decides to join MLS, we would welcome him warmly.”

He added, “I would say he should contact Leo (Messi) and Thomas Müller to see how happy and successful they are and how they feel about being in MLS.”

Messi had previously led Inter Miami to the MLS Cup title after defeating Vancouver Whitecaps, the club of German legend Thomas Müller, in the final.

The MLS wouldn’t be Salah’s only option if he decided to leave Liverpool. He could move to the Saudi league or even continue playing in Europe with a club outside the English Premier League.
