Mitrovic will reap a huge fortune after Al Hilal’s decision to terminate his contract!

The Al Hilal management has decided to immediately terminate Aleksandar Mitrovic’s contract, effectively removing him from the Saudi club’s squad for the new season. This decision was made by coach Simone Inzaghi.

Al Hilal, also at Inzaghi’s behest, signed a new striker, Darwin Nunez, from Liverpool for €65 million. The Uruguayan will be the Blue Wave’s undisputed first-choice striker.

According to the Portuguese newspaper “A Bola,” Inzaghi informed Mitrovic that he is not in his plans. The player has not made any official offer to Al Hilal, and the club is currently keen to get rid of him, especially since he will not have any opportunities to participate in the new season.

The newspaper confirmed that Al Hilal’s management is currently considering terminating Mitrovic’s contract by mutual consent, in exchange for the Serbian player receiving his full salary for next season, €25 million. It is said that a club member will cover this cost from his own pocket.

Mitrovic joined Al Hilal in the summer of 2023 from Fulham for €52 million. The 30-year-old has made a significant impact with the club, scoring 68 goals and providing 15 assists in 79 appearances across all competitions.

Over the past season, Mitrovic was frequently sidelined with various injuries, which led the club to favor a younger, less injured player. The Serbian has offers from England and has been linked with Leeds United and Everton in recent days.
