Milan Star on the Brink of Joining Al-Hilal

One of Milan’s most prominent stars is close to joining Al-Hilal, after the Saudi club reached an agreement with his former club and is close to signing the player himself.

According to Fabrizio Romano, this player is left-back Theo Hernandez, a new prelude to Simone Inzaghi’s imminent arrival as coach of the Blue Wave.

Milan has no objection to selling Theo, whose contract expires in the summer of 2026, so negotiations between the two teams proceeded smoothly and led to a final agreement on all details.

Al-Hilal will pay a fixed €30 million to sign the French international, with another €5 million in variables depending on individual and collective success.

At the same time, Theo Hernandez’s salary with Al-Hilal will be €18 million per year, nearly double what he earns at Milan.

Despite the positive news, Theo has not yet given the green light for this move and is still hoping for a surprise European offer that will allow him to continue on the continent.

However, it’s most likely that the deal has been practically finalized, and the player will eventually move to Saudi Arabia due to the high salary.

With Theo’s move to Al-Hilal, Brazilian left-back Renan Lodi will undoubtedly leave.

Italian media reported that Simone Inzaghi, during his negotiations with Al-Hilal, asked the club to sign Theo, making the deal an additional incentive for the Italian coach to sign with the capital club before the Club World Cup.
