According to Spanish newspaper AS, Michael Olise has requested an urgent meeting with Bayern Munich officials to discuss his future with the Bavarian club, amid intense interest from Real Madrid and several English Premier League giants.
Olise still has two years remaining on his current contract with Bayern Munich. However, the German club’s management is fully aware of the need to renew his deal and offer him a significant salary increase to ensure his long-term stay at the Allianz Arena.
The report notes that Olise will sit down with Bayern executives immediately after completing his campaign with France at the 2026 World Cup to address his future. This upcoming meeting has reportedly caused a state of anxiety within the Bavarian club.
As for the player, he is flattered by Real Madrid’s interest but has neither accepted nor rejected a potential move to the Santiago Bernabéu yet. Furthermore, he has not given the Bayern hierarchy any indication that he will agree to a contract extension.
Consequently, the post-World Cup meeting will clarify Olise’s final stance. The Frenchman is expected to evaluate Bayern’s initial renewal offer and the club’s sporting plans for the coming years before deciding whether to extend his stay or demand a departure this summer—or by 2027 at the absolute latest.
Notably, Real Madrid issued an official statement denying any contact with Olise. Nevertheless, Spanish media outlets insist that Los Blancos’ interest in the 23-year-old winger is genuine, though a transfer appears complicated due to Bayern Munich’s firm and uncompromising stance against selling him.
