Spanish media reports indicate that Lionel Messi has urged Inter Miami to sign Manchester United star Casemiro as soon as possible.
The English club previously announced that this season would be the Brazilian’s last at Old Trafford after a four-year spell with the Red Devils.
Casemiro’s next destination remains unknown, though he has been linked with a move to the Saudi Professional League, specifically to Al-Nassr, reportedly at the recommendation of Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to recent reports, Inter Miami has joined the list of clubs interested in signing the 34-year-old, especially since Lionel Messi has approved the deal, considering it an ideal addition to their midfield.
The Argentine star believes that signing Casemiro would enrich Inter Miami both on and off the pitch, and he is confident that he and Rodrigo De Paul would form a formidable partnership, full of experience and dynamism, making the reigning MLS champions the strongest midfield in the league.
Casemiro’s decision regarding a move to Saudi Arabia, the United States, or even a return to Brazil remains unclear, especially since the financial offers are roughly equal.
Currently, Casemiro prefers to focus solely on his career with Manchester United, hoping to finish the season in the Premier League’s top four, then participate in the 2026 World Cup with Brazil, before deciding on his next destination.
