Kylian Mbappé continued his impressive form for Real Madrid, scoring a hat-trick in the club’s 5-0 win over Kairat in the second round of the Champions League.
The French star opened the scoring in the 25th minute from a penalty kick, then took advantage of a brilliant pass from Thibaut Courtois to score the second goal in the 52nd minute.
In the 73rd minute, Arda Güler set up Mbappé with a stunning one-touch pass, who powerfully struck to score his third goal of the match and complete his hat-trick.
This is Mbappé’s fourth hat-trick for Real Madrid; the first came against Valladolid last January in La Liga, the second against Manchester City in the Champions League, and the most recent came in the 4-3 El Clásico loss to Barcelona last May.
This is Mbappé’s fourth hat-trick in the Champions League, equaling Karim Benzema’s record and closing in on the record of the legendary Lionel Messi and the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo (8 hat-tricks).
Overall, Mbappé has scored in every match he played in September 2025, scoring one goal against Real Sociedad, Espanyol, and Atlético Madrid, two goals against Levante, and finally a hat-trick against Kairat.
Mbappé has now scored 13 goals in nine matches for Real Madrid in all competitions this season.
