Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has chosen last season’s best player without hesitation, insisting he is the undisputed winner of the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
In less than 20 days, France Football will announce the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner at a grand ceremony in Paris. The current contenders are Ousmane Dembélé and Lamine Yamal, along with other names such as Pedri, Vitinha, Raphinha, and Mohamed Salah.
Mbappé was asked during the current international break who, in his opinion, deserved the Ballon d’Or, and he answered without hesitation, “Ousmane Dembélé, without a doubt.”
He added, “If it were up to me, I would go to his house and give him the award myself.”
Dembélé was a key player in Paris Saint-Germain’s historic treble triumph last season, scoring 35 goals and providing 16 assists in 53 appearances for Luis Enrique’s side.
Mbappé is the second player to endorse Dembélé’s Ballon d’Or, after last season’s winner, Rodri, said the French star deserved it as well, as did fellow PSG star Vitinha.
