The milestone arrived during Real Madrid’s clash against Inter Milan at the Santiago Bernabéu in the opening fixture of the new Champions League campaign. The French star needed just 14 minutes to break the deadlock and give Los Blancos the lead.
The goal stemmed from Mbappé pressing Yann Bisseck, forcing the Inter defender to slip while attempting to clear the ball. Brahim Díaz capitalized on the error, playing a one-touch pass behind the defensive line for Mbappé to accelerate into space and finish calmly past goalkeeper Josep Martínez.

Mbappé is now joint-fifth in the all-time Champions League scoring charts alongside Raúl, with only four legendary names ahead of him: Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, and Karim Benzema.
According to official UEFA statistics, the top five all-time leading scorers stand as follows: Cristiano Ronaldo leads with 141 goals, followed by Lionel Messi with 129, Robert Lewandowski with 109, Karim Benzema with 90, and both Mbappé and Raúl tied at 71 goals each.
The speed at which Mbappé reached this mark is particularly impressive; the Inter match was his 99th Champions League appearance, whereas Raúl recorded his 71 goals across 144 matches, underscoring the French captain’s extraordinary scoring efficiency in Europe’s elite competition.
Mbappé’s European goals are split across his three clubs: 6 with Monaco, 42 in the colors of Paris Saint-Germain, and 23 with Real Madrid, as he continues to write his legacy following his move to the Spanish capital.
