Mbappe challenges Barcelona: I will not hide and will show all my abilities
Kylian Mbappe, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, made statements challenging Barcelona and confirming the value of their upcoming confrontation in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Mbappe played only twice against Barcelona, specifically in the round of 16 of the Champions League 2021, and then he scored 4 goals, won one match and tied another, and now he is looking forward to repeating the same achievement.
The French international spoke to AS newspaper, saying, “An advanced role and in front of a team like this, it is the time for great players to appear. I am fully prepared for that and as usual I will not hide in front of Barcelona.”
He also added, “This match may be a turning point in the season. The month of April and this stage always determines the shape of the season in the end.”
He concluded, “By the end of this month, we will know the shape of the season that we will have. All I am saying is that we will all give everything we have, and then the result in the end is in God’s hands.”
Paris Saint-Germain is practically close to the French League title, topping it by a large margin over the closest competitors. It has also reached the French Cup final, and is now competing in the Champions League quarter-finals.
