After a long wait, Manchester United offloaded the duo Jadon Sancho and Anthony in the final days of the summer transfer window.
Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea, while Anthony shone brightly in the last six months with Real Betis.
Over the summer, United tried to sell both players after they fell out of favor with coach Ruben Amorim, but the offers they received were not financially viable.
In the final days of the transfer window, United achieved their goal, starting with Anthony, who will return to Real Betis, this time permanently, in a deal estimated at €25 million, with 50% of any future sale to another club.
As for Sancho, he finally agreed to move to Aston Villa, but he will remain with United on a one-year loan deal.
With the duo now gone, United are now expected to move to secure a new goalkeeper. Antwerp goalkeeper Seny Lens is still in the works, while an agreement has already been reached with Emiliano Martinez.
