Interest in signing Vinicius Junior seems endless, with English giants Manchester United being the latest to express interest in the Real Madrid star.
According to Fichajes, the Red Devils’ management is seriously considering signing the Brazilian international and sees him as the star around whom the future Old Trafford project can be built.
Manchester City has also expressed interest in Vinicius, and Chelsea has reportedly entered the race recently. Paris Saint-Germain is also among those interested in the Real Madrid star, but only if he becomes available on a free transfer in the summer of 2027.
The latest report indicates that United officials believe paying between €150 and €200 million is not a mistake, but rather a long-term investment that will pay off both on and off the pitch.
United’s management is considering submitting a direct offer of €200 million to Real Madrid to preempt any bidding wars from Chelsea or Saudi Arabian clubs.
From Florentino Pérez’s perspective, the current focus is on a final attempt to reach an agreement with the player on a contract extension. If this attempt fails, he will be forced to leave this summer, allowing the club to recoup some money from his departure rather than lose him for free in 2027 – a scenario completely unacceptable at the Santiago Bernabéu.
It’s worth noting that Brazilian media outlets have previously indicated that Vinicius’s most likely option is to move to Saudi Arabia for two years on a lucrative contract, then return to Europe with a major club of his choosing.
