Manchester City star offers his services to Barcelona

“Sport” newspaper revealed that Manchester City player Kalvin Phillips has offered himself to Barcelona to join the Catalan club next summer.

Phillips has just returned from an unsuccessful loan to West Ham, and is looking for a way out of Manchester City in the summer after learning that he is out of Pep Guardiola’s accounts.

According to the latest report, Phillips believes that Barcelona may be a very ideal destination for him, and because of this, his representatives began communicating with the Blaugrana management to try to reach an agreement on a possible transfer.

So far, the Catalan club has not shown any reaction. The administration is in the process of studying all the options available in the summer and will discuss with Hansi Flick about the possibility of including Phillips.

Manchester City welcomes selling the English star for 30 to 40 million euros, and in practical terms Barcelona currently cannot pay this figure.

However, City are said to be open to Phillips going out on a dry loan again, and Barcelona have chances if they want to sign the 28-year-old.

Barcelona succeeded in reaching an agreement with Rodriguez, the Real Betis player, and is also seeking to include Joshua Kimmich, which makes including Phillips logically out of the question unless including the Bayern Munich star fails.
