Lunin’s mistake makes Bernardo Silva history against Real Madrid (video)

A mistake by Andrey Lunin, Real Madrid goalkeeper, caused Bernardo Silva to enter history from the widest gates.

The Manchester City star scored the first goal for the English club from a free kick that the Ukrainian goalkeeper misjudged just 108 seconds after the start of the match.

Bernardo Silva’s goal became the second fastest goal by a guest at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the history of the Champions League.

Mario Mandzukic’s goal for Juventus against Real Madrid in April 2018 remains the fastest, after the Croatian scored the goal within just 77 seconds of the start of the confrontation.

Fortunately for Lunin, Real Madrid succeeded in coming back and taking a two-goal lead before the end of the first half. In the second half, the match was exciting and ended in a 3-3 draw.

Now we leave you with Bernardo’s historic goal and Lunin’s unforgivable mistake.
